Cosmetic Dentistry.

Cosmetic Dentistry unlike traditional reconstructive dental procedures is specifically geared toward improving the cosmetic attractiveness of your smile.

Thanks to recent advances in dental materials and techniques, Lorenzana and Associates can enhance, improve and/or completely change the appearance of individual teeth or your entire smile through one or more of the cosmetic procedures listed below.

Bonding restores teeth that are chipped, cracked, misaligned, or discolored.

A plastic resin is used to rebuild the teeth and make them look natural. Bonding usually requires only a single visit to accomplish the desired result, although more complex cases may require several visits.

While a bonding procedure will usually last three to five years depending on patient care, bonded teeth may need to be touched-up to correct wear or discoloration.

Veneers are very thin resin or composite-based shells which we adhere to the surface of prepared teeth. As veneers are color-matched as closely as possible to your surrounding natural teeth, this procedure helps correct or camouflage severe discoloration, damage, misalignment, or teeth that are poorly shaped.

Two or more visits may be required to complete this procedure.

Bleaching, also called Tooth Whitening, lightens and brightens dental surface stains caused by coffee, tea, food, and age. Darker stains, such as those caused by antibiotics, may take longer to respond to treatment.

The degree of whiteness attained will vary from patient to patient, depending on the structures of the teeth, the number of applications, or the duration of time that the bleaching solution is used.

Bleached/whitened teeth may need touching up every six to eight months.
